Is your favorite little one intrigued by pretty roses? Then this Mimi the Sardine Rose Garden apron is perfect for you! This apron is soft as cloth yet is permanently water and soil resistant. It is made from acrylic coated cotton and the cotton fabric was made in Sweden and meets the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard which is an ecological certification with a goal of testing for over 100 harmful chemicals. The cotton is covered with a washable acrylic coating. It is permanently water and soil resistant yet remains soft and supple. This apron is great for cooking as well as art projects, science experiments and spaghetti dinners. The apron has one pocket, adjustable straps and fits children from 2-6 years. Simply wipe clean or machine wash. 16.5 inches wide by 19.5 inches long. Mimi the Sardine promises all their items contain no lead, BPA, or PVC. They also promise long-lasting Swedish-designed fabrics and American-made product. Eat. Spill. Be Happy!

5An apron frock that rocks
@_*Fiafia
Having liked Mimi's bibs for the younger set, thought I'd give the apron a go for my sousie chef. Glad I did. Best bit about the whole bit? The black strap you see in the picture is contiguous fabric; it creates the combined adjustable neck and waist band. So if your kiddy's head is larger than average, the apron will still fit perfectly. And the band's width means no red marks on your little cook's neck...even if the apron's on snuggly. The apron fabric is malleable, not stiff like other aprons we've used once and never again. Seams even, tight and build to last. The fabric wipes down easy peasy for little messes. But if your little chef's used the apron as a mixing bowl, you can swish the apron in the sink with water [or add soap for a greasy mess] and you're good to go. Mimi the Sardine [girl, you really fish?], I say make us big kids these aprons. If you do, I'd like two pockets please...one for my spoon and the other for my thermometer.

The fit is adjustable, the fabric allows easy clean up, the rose and ladybug fabric is really cute and the three year old loves it.

5Great gender-neutral apron

My son loves to help me in the kitchen and wear an apron just like me. This is a great one that is not cutesy or too girly. We have used it for cooking, playdoh, and water play and it works great. The material is very good quality with brilliant colors.
