I searched high and low for a high quality wood play kitchen that would give our granddaughter plenty of years of service and inspire her creativity. I was not tempted by the plastic options as I knew that my own children had benefited from a homemade wooden kitchen that encouraged their imagination without all the bells and whistles built in. While the price might seem daunting for a piece used primarily for play, the idea that this well constructed cabinetry will withstand the test of time was worth the investment for me. Besides being "cute", the doors open easily, the stove and oven markings realistic and the stylizing of the kitchen afford it a chance to blend into your real kitchen. Our kitchen did arrive without the sink insert tub and the ECR4Kids Customer Service was outstanding. They made sure our needs were met in a very timely fashion. The piece required no embly at all.
