2Disappointed - Choking Hazard
@_*Honest Reviewer
This toy would be awesome if it were larger. The pieces way too small, and the yolk, esp, really concerned me. I thought about gluing the yolks in with some kind of strong epoxy, but even the whole egg can be put into one's mouth. Unlike other small toys, this one can get lodged in the throat and cut off air flow completely. Even though my 3 1/2 year old daughter may not put things in her mouth, I worry about other kids who come over to play. I bought mine on another site, and it shipped from china in a thin envelope. The box was completely crushed on arrival, so I couldn't even give my daughter just the carton to play with. She is all about her play kitchen and food right now, and this would have been a BIG hit since she LOVES eggs, and we used to have chickens. I bought a box of 6 count eggs from the grocery store and refilled that carton with plastic easter eggs instead. She loves it.

3Only 3 of them open
@_*mturck
It wasn't that clear, but they don't all open, only 3 of them do. Try and explain that to a 2 year old :)
Also, the yolks pretty small, I don't think it's necessarily safe for children under 3

3I fixed 2 of the problems
@_*Mara Rivera
I agree with everything said about these eggs - but I worked out 2 solutions. Not to the choking hazard, though. Yes, the eggs smaller than real eggs, and the yolk tempting to put in the mouth! The ads don't describe them well enough.
But I solved the problem of the eggs falling apart and the halves hard to get out of the fiber egg carton.
I got some Aileen's Tack-it "Over & Over" (removeable) glue, spread some on one rim of the 3 eggs which open, set the other half on top to pick up the glue, and set them aside, separated with rims up to dry for a few days to a week or more. Then you can present the toy with the eggs embled, and not only can they be opened and closed like anything, but you can get them out of the box easily! Not an ideal solution, for kids who will put them in their mouth, because some glue might be ingested. But my grandchild does love them for her play kitchen! And if they should lose their adhesive quality, you can apply new glue. (Caution: this glue is very clingy and if you get any of it onto any part but the rim can be annoyingly hard to wipe off.)
The problem with the intriguingly realistic fiber egg box, is the fragility where there thin strips under the openings which fasten it shut - obviously they'll tear there. So I used my nontoxic Titebond 2 glue to soak into the strips, in such a way as to bond them to the rest of the box. When dry they pretty sturdy and you can open and close the box without them tearing. This glue is even waterproof, by the way, and the best wood or cardboard glue, very good for fixing toys.
Anyway my grandchild is entranced with the eggs and the box, even pretending the yolks chicks! There 3 of them which open, which is plenty (especially at cleanup time!), and the 3 which don't open can sh the box with no problem.
If you decide these eggs not for your family, I can recommend some wooden eggs which don't come apart. You can order them from Casey's Wood Products along with little rolling pins, wood fruits, and lots of other little play items, very cheap, and they come in lots of sizes. There were even ones with a tiny flat place, which therefore don't roll away so maddeningly!
