Cute, but tiny!

My daughter has a toy kitchen, pots and pans, and tons of food. All she was missing was dishes. This set looked perfect, and great value. It is adorable. But, it is so, so tiny. It won't work with most of her (Melissa & Doug) play food. She's only 2, so it will be fine for now, but definitely won't last the life of her kitchen. Also, the dish drainer I received was yellow--doesn't bother me, but not purple as pictured. [If you have a boy, the colors of the set I received would be great--all primary colors.]

This toy is a gift so I haven't opened the package. I am pleased to say that after calling iplay this toy is BPA free! I thought others may want to know since items will inevitably be in childs mouth. Happy Shopping!

my two kids got this from santa this year - my 2 year old has not stopped playing with it. we even have snack with them now. they hold up well in the sink (we don't use a dishwasher), and even with my 1 year old throwing them around, they still look like new. GREAT set of dishes.
the only drawback is that the sink drainer does not fit in the sink on their kidkraft kitchen - but, it works great to just hold the dishes in another cabinet.
i would definitely buy it again.
